SIMON HUSTINGS (Editor)
Simon has been producing, shooting & cutting for clients near and far for the last 12 years.
He works with clients big and small from across Europe and the US and works on corporate, commercial, documentary and film projects. Also providing training courses for anyone and everyone who wants to learn more about shooting and editing.
He first picked up a camera when he was 15 and has been shooting and cutting ever since. He started working professionally while studying in the UK and US.
Starting as an assistant shooter/cutter covering regional news in the UK, he moved to Cyprus in 2004. He was soon out shooting international news events around the Med and Middle East and had guns pointed at him and rocks thrown in Ramallah for Arafat’s funeral, the Tsunami in Sri Lanka was hot, humid and intense and 12 hour days in the 57 degree heat of Egypt for the hotel suicide bombings was just insane.
Simon took a side step from news to focus more on the creative side of the industry and along the way built up a loyal client list and a fantastic network of colleagues and contacts. Since then he has shot, cut, animated and produced video projects for a variety of corporate clients from across the EU and US as well as project managing a number of large accounts for design agencies dealing with Fortune 500 companies.
An Apple Certified Pro in Motion he’s built up a geek-like knowledge of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Compressor and Motion and also knows his way around Photoshop and After Effects better than most. His geek-like knowledge also extends to video codecs/compression techniques and HD/SD content delivery for web, mobile and broadcast.
