A fresh new identity for one of the most prominent Arts Foundations in Cyprus.
Since its inception in 1998, the Pharos Arts Foundation has organised hundreds of concerts with some of the world’s most important musicians and ensembles, making it one of the leading cultural foundations in Cyprus.
The foundation is dedicated to inspiring, educating and empowering the public through the arts and the power of music – organizing more than 700 events with more than 2000 musicians in Cyprus, the U.K., Brazil, Jordan, Armenia, Russia and the Czech Republic.
With a strong international profile and a regular attendance of overseas visitors to their numerous events, the organisation felt it was time to update their identity and showcase the depth and breadth of their work alongside some of the world’s top art and music foundations.
We created the new identity to encapsulate the Foundation’s dynamic, vibrant and active personality and connect it to their constant activity and forward-thinking approach to music education and international events. Bright, vivid colours and the free-flowing shape of the beacon are balanced and supported by bold and solid typography to accentuate the Foundation’s established position and gravitas.
The visual mark is a sophisticated and vivid emblem of the power of music and culture and aims to move the Pharos Foundation forward dynamically, flexibly supporting their promotions and communications with a wide range of adaptations and applications.
Our redesigned website gives visitors a real sense of the quantity of events and quality of renowned musicians they have introduced to Cyprus, moving the Foundation into a hot-spot for cultural tourism around the world and promoting cultural and artistic excellence to the island.
